About me: I began dancing at the age of 4 taking ballet & tap classes finishing at age 16 up to & including elementary grades.
I started disco freestyle at the age of 6 and throughout the years, taking every exam possible including all 4 teaching grades!
I also trained in contemporary, modern, jazz, and street dance on a performing arts programme at secondary school!
When I left secondary school I then went on to study A-level dance at college, passed my A-levels there, left and began my teacher training in Disco freestyle, slow lyrical, street & rock & roll.
As soon as I passed my student teacher exam aged 17 I started teaching classes for the Carol Gale School of Dance, and I have since taken my Associate, Licentiate & Fellowship in disco freestyle and passed them all with highly commended. I have taken my Associate and Licentiate in rock & roll which I also passed with highly commended. (You can not get Honours at professional levels!)
As a competitor I qualified in the ISTD National Finals several times where I won, and was placed in the finals on many occasions. As a performer i danced on stage in London, Paris & various local venues.
I have attended auditions in London for various companies where I gained professional positions as a dancer including Disney land Paris!
I have gained vast experience from various professionals, and have produced set dance routines for the ISTD area medalist competitions & grand finals. I also wrote an article in the ISTD "Dance" magazine reviewing an event at national grand finals day.
I love the fact that my hobby turned into my career & I can pass my extensive knowledge, training & experiences onto others who share my passion....... DANCE!!!
